Meet Dr. Sharon Dickerson
Dr. Sharon Dickerson's endless zeal for education, personal and professional development is reflected in her portfolio. Much of her post-doctorate training has been focused on adult restorative dentistry. She has studied extensively at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study. She is a Level IV graduate of Orognathic Bioesthetic International, a comprehensive full mouth diagnosis and restoration curriculum. She also serves as a mentor for the prestigious Schuster Center for Professional Development.
She takes a personal interest in each and every individual that comes into her office. She has a warm, caring and gentle style that helps to ease the anxiety that can often be associated with dental care. By taking the time to understand her client's health goals and priorities, she is able to customize dental treatment to meet their specific concerns.
Dr. Sharon Dickerson was born and raised in Battle Creek and returned to practice Dentistry in her hometown after graduating from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1988. Her father, Dr. Jerry Borsum, a dentist in Battle Creek since 1959, welcomed her to the team and together they continued the commitment of excellent dental care to their clients. Dr. Borsum has since retired and Dr. Dickerson has been managing the solo practice since 2004.
She has two daughters, one at Michigan State University, and the other at Harper Creek High School. She cherishes time with her family and friends, enjoys personal fitness activities and other health pursuits, reading, and traveling. |
