A big heartfelt thank you, for the way that you practice dentistry. Your compassion and professionalism are a blessing to your patients. Although going to the dentist isn't thought of as pleasurable, it is a pleasure to be your patient. God bless you.

What a neat staff you have. I'm treated royally by all of you. The newspaper, birthday phone calls, being taken early during your lunch time... wow! Thank for all of these special considerations.

Dear Sharon, at some level, you "know" what is always needed and what's next. You have learned to listen very carefully... you absolutely love helping people and it shows. That is awesome! Your spirit is inspiring and uplifting. Your skills speak for themselves. Thanks for everything.

Thank you to Dr. Dickerson and her entire staff for the wonderful and welcoming care I received when I came into the office crying from the pain of my tooth. The staff invited me in and offered me care above and beyond what I consider exceptional. It's nice to know that in today's world there are still people who recognize a human as a real person.

I have never in my life seen a more competent, capable, caring dentist. Dr. Sharon Dickerson deserves all the kudos I can give her. Her demeanor is ultra-kind and caring. She is gentle and she makes sure you understand everything that is going on in your mouth, with digital x-rays and photos so you can really "see" what's going on in there. Digital x-rays have less radiation, which is a plus, because radiation is harmful, and cumulative. So that is very important to me.
I recently paid Dr. Dickerson a visit regarding the removal of mercury fillings because I was told she is one of few dentists who specialize in this field. Dr. Dickerson discovered that I have the beginnings of gum disease, even though I have gone every six months for dental cleanings, faithfully, my entire life. I was concerned of this and eager to reverse this disease process. I have only brushed twice a day in the past and I dislike flossing, as it is so time consuming. I was addicted to Coca-Cola, sipping on several of them all day long, for years. I am so glad she discovered my impending state of declining dental health early enough so I can do something about it. Gum disease, left unattended, can result in many states of disease, systemically, as well as literally threaten the loss of bone, followed by a loss of your teeth.
Doctor Sharon has state-of-the-art equipment for the best diagnosis possible. Her approach is a very methodical and thorough evaluation which can benefit the "whole" person, and not just the mouth. If the wrong type of bacteria is growing in the mouth, some of you may know it can cause serious heart problems as well as other health disturbances, so dental health is not to be taken lightly. She explained to me that gum disease can be reversed, and I feel so grateful that I caught this in time. Her office is spotlessly clean, has a great ambiance, and the staff are so very kind. They even sterilize the neck chain that goes around the napkin they put on your chest. Lots of nasty little bugs can grow in there. I worked for two dentists in my life and they never sterilized these neck chains. I have a couple fillings that are so poorly done (not flush with the tooth and lacking smooth edges), that the floss gets stuck on them. I am unable to clean them properly and this creates a plaque trap. Well, I want you to know that plaque can be your un-doing in so many ways, that you cannot even imagine. So go get yourself educated and get a thorough exam like you have never had before. Entrust your care to this fine lady. She does it all.
I love her... and her staff so much!
Gratefully,
Diane Barnes
